Subject-verb agreement
This week, we are going to hear two programmes about subject-verb agreement.
Programme 1: In the challenge, we ask Peng Jin from China to settle a dispute between two students who can't agree on their English homework. Click here.
Programme 2: In programme 1 we showed how plural and singular subjects need to 'agree' with their verbs. But some subjects look singular but are actually plural... and some look plural but are actually singular! Confused? Click here
